Account Manager / Innovation Advisor

Your tasks:

You are responsible for the relation and the maintenance of the accounts in your portfolio (LMS, Bosal, Tenneco, Bekaert, Recticel, Ford, Volvo Cars, Volvo Trucks, Van Hool,...).
You detect opportunities for innovation and translate customer needs into solutions.
You stimulate innovations with your portfolio customers and guide them during the conversion of their strategic choice into a more specific innovation plan.
You work out technical solutions for customers in the network.
You inform customers about the possible subsidy scheme of the Flemish government.
From your innovation role you (help) organise and moderate workshops, seminars, group visits and exchanges of experience.
You help make the realised innovations internationally known.
You work out specific quotations and contract offers for the customers in your portfolio and follow up the quotations until the actual order.

Your profile:

You have a degree in higher education (civil engineer, master in (industrial) sciences, master in business administration,...) and you dispose of a solid technical knowledge. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an equivalent function, preferably in the automotive sector.
You are familiar with the Flemish innovation platform and you are able to write innovation files.
Preferably you are also familiar with the main subsidy schemes of the Flemish government and you can translate these into specific advice for your accounts.
You are familiar with project management and you work quality and cost aware with a sense of responsibility.
You can work autonomously and precisely, prioritize and stay focused on the objectives.
You have an excellent analytical ability, you're flexible and full of initiative.
You are commercial and know how to handle personal and company targets.
You are a good communicator and are capable to promote Flanders' DRIVE and all of its competencies.
