Durability seminarie 'Mobile data acquisition for tough environments'

Flanders' DRIVE and LMS International are organising the seminar 'Mobile data acquisition for tough environments'. This practical seminar will teach you everything about the basic principls for the durability testing, from data acquisition in the field, to data consolidation and analysis to the defining of accelerated test procedures. We give participants insight in a better way to develop a durable products, how to quantify the use of products and finally how to set realistic targets and test procedures.
This seminar will take place on Tuesday 15 June 2010 at Flanders' DRIVE, Oude Diestersebaan 133, 3920 Lommel.

During the development of a product it is essential to meet the client's high expectations. Engineers responsible for durability often wonder how and under which circumstances the product is used. Is it used in town, snow or the desert? On the highway of off-road on roads in bad condition? What kind of load must it endure? With a cargo of 100 or 1.000 kg? Occasional use or 24/7? And then of course the main question: how long does the product need to last?
