FLANDERS' DRIVE SINCE 1996

Flanders’ DRIVE was set up in 1996 as an industry initiative by: Agoria Flanders, LMS International, Bekaert, Bosal, Tenneco and Sirris. Activities started in 2001 with the support of the Flemish Government. In 2004, the building and infrastructure of Flanders' DRIVE in Lommel came into operation.

At first, Flanders' DRIVE focused solely on product innovation. Since 2005, we expanded our focus to include process innovation for production and assembly companies as well. The Flemish government gave Flanders' DRIVE new impetus for the 2007-11 period so that we could develop into an international competency pool.
