Kick-off WATT Roadshow
On Friday, 19 March, Flanders' DRIVE will host the kick-off of the WATT Roadshow. The WATT Roadshow is an initiative of the Bond Beter Leefmilieu (Association for Better Environment), ASBE and the Flemish government to enable Flanders to become acquainted with alternative-energy vehicles. The roadshow will visit 16 cities and towns, with Lommel getting the ball rolling.
WATT stands for Wagens, Alternatieve Transportmiddelen en Technologie (cars, alternative means of transport and technology). Roadshow visitors are given information specific to their situation on the vehicles and tax breaks, can go for a test drive, etc. Flanders' DRIVE partners receive a personal invitation to attend the VIP EVENT on 19 March. They also get an exclusive insight into the development of the heart of an electric car, the battery. The general public can get a feeling for the WATT Roadshow on Saturday, 20 March, in Lommel town centre.
