Projectmanager Manufacturing

Your tasks:
  • You are to a large extent independently responsible for the further expansion and development of the competencies in the domain Manufacturing. This means the control and the application of common tools and knowledge flows for process improvement.
  • You identify the specific needs within the automotive industry concerning manufacturing processes.
  • You can  translate these needs into research projects for a collective of companies.
  • You coordinate the different projects: you guard the project milestones and control the project costs accurately.
  • You make sure that the parties involved are kept up to date on the progress of their projects and ensure that any bottlenecks are resolved.
  • You are responsible for the output and valorisation of the research efforts.
  • You co-operate in the international expansion of the realised innovations.

Your profile:

  • You dispose of a master's degree (industrial engineer or master in business administration) and have a minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in an equivalent function.
  • You are capable of defining and developing a production system from your experience within the production surroundings. Moreover you are able to judge a production system on efficiency and effectiveness. Preferably  your experience situates itself within the automotive sector and within the "green and clean" segment.
  • You are familiar with the important knowledge flows within the manufacturing domain, like lean manufacturing and lean logistics, flow management, industrial engineering, 6 sigma, TQM,...
  • You have excellent organisation and managerial talents within crossfunctial teams.
  • You are quality aware with a sense of responsibility and you dispose of a good analytical ability.
  • You can work autonomous, prioritize and stay focused on the objectives.
  • You work systematically, like taking initiative, are flexible and customer oriented. You especially stand out because of your ability to coordinate and communicate.
  • Multilingualism is an asset.
