Senior CAD Design Engineer Clean Powertrains

For a period of 12 months

Your tasks:

As a CAD Design Engineer you contribute to the technical realization of concrete project for the industry and you contribute to building the competencies in the domain of Clean Powertrains at Flanders’ DRIVE. More specifically this means that:

You have experience with the drawing program CATIA V5 and you are familiar with the vehicle assembly drawings. Knowledge of IDEAS CAD drawings is an asset.
You are in direct touch with the OEM’s for the wide application of batteries and electrified powertrains and auxiliary power units in vehicles.
Together with your team, you will realize the project objectives.
You will work closely together with your fellow researchers within Flanders’ DRIVE and/or the researchers in the industry to realize project goals and deliver convincing results.
You will report to the program manager Clean Powertrains.

Your profile:

You have at least 5 years of CAD experience in solid part design. Common techniques in the vehicle industry aren’t strange for you.
You have a passion for the newest vehicle developments.
You have an excellent knowledge of English, writing as well as speaking. German is an asset.
You are customer oriented and a team player.
You have a strong analytical knowledge and do not have problems to work autonomously and precisely.
You are driven, flexible and result driven.
