TEAM
Currently, 40 enthusiastic and highly motivated people work for Flanders’ DRIVE under the leadership of Renilde Craps.
The organisation is divided into 4 groups:
1. Innovation stimulation
This group shows companies in the automotive sector how important innovation and cooperation are, and stimulates tangible initiatives. Experts and companies are put in touch with one another via the innovation platform to develop tangible improvements and innovations.
2. Research and development
This group develops solutions for the industry on a project basis and thus develops competencies benefiting the industry. The group consists of a mix of experienced experts and young researchers. This team forms the basis of the Flanders' DRIVE competency domains.
3. Testing
Testing validates important measuring stages during the development process and gives feedback about the quality of the development. Physical as well as virtual tests are carried out on vehicles, electro-mechanical components and systems. The group has the required precision measuring equipment, testing infrastructure and expertise.
4. Support services
The sections above are supported by the Finance, HR, Communication and ICT departments.
