Together we help companies innovate better and faster. In addition, we attach great importance to international cooperation in the field of innovation and to participation in European research projects.

Today Flanders Make counts 600 researchers who work full-time as a unique research community on a joint industrial research agenda.

Our mission

Flanders Make supports the Flemish manufacturing industry to increase its international competitive strength. Today, tomorrow and in the long term. By doing so, we keep companies in Flanders and at the same time attract foreign businesses.

We support both SMEs and large manufacturing companies with industry-driven, pre-competitive and excellent research in two application domains:

  1. Products: vehicles and machines
  2. Production: assembly

The result of our support? Concrete product and production innovations in vehicle industry, in mechanical engineering and in production environments. By contributing to the technological development of the vehicles, machines and factories of the future, we create added value for the manufacturing industry.

In the networks of companies, knowledge institutions and governments that we create for this purpose, we anticipate and tackle the challenges ahead. The created knowledge is shared in a dynamic, collaborative ecosystem that strenghtens everyone's competences.

In addition, Flanders Make attaches great importance to international cooperation in the field of innovation and participates in a number of European research projects.
